In June 2024, we were fortunate to partner with Everyday Independence, who generously volunteered their Occupational Therapists’ time to work one-on-one with our educators. This unique opportunity allowed three of our educators to receive expert guidance tailored to the children in their care, an incredible offer as, to our knowledge, we were the only Family Day Care service invited to take part.
A few months later, in September, we celebrated creativity and sustainability with a competition encouraging educators to use our REmida membership to design long-lasting resources for their daycares. The winning idea, a cleverly built pallet kitchen, earned a water tank to enhance their outdoor environment.
These initiatives not only supported our educators with practical tools and expertise but also sparked fresh ideas to create engaging, sustainable learning spaces for the children in their care.
